Every plan has the same limits per domain, per month: 100,000 inbound messages included, a 400 MB maximum size for any single inbound message, and 500 outbound relay messages. "Every mailbox included" refers to how many mailboxes and aliases you can protect on the domain. It doesn't mean unlimited message volume: a domain with five mailboxes and one with five hundred share the same 100,000-message allowance. If your mail server is unreachable, we hold incoming mail for up to 5 days and deliver it when the server is back. Message history is kept for 30 days, so you can trace what happened to a message within that window. If you expect to exceed these limits, talk to us before you sign up.

Beta pricing. All prices are in US dollars (USD) and exclude applicable taxes. Payments are processed by Stripe; subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in the billing portal, effective at the end of the paid period. A domain's first annual subscription has a 30-day money-back guarantee.

**Q: Why do you charge per domain instead of per user?**
Filtering happens at the domain's MX records, so the domain is the natural unit. It also keeps your bill steady: hiring someone, adding a shared mailbox or creating an alias doesn't change what you pay. The trade-off is a monthly message allowance per domain, which we publish so you can check it against your real volume.

**Q: What's the difference between Protect and Protect Plus?**
Filtering, quarantine, limits and outbound relay are identical. Protect Plus checks your MX, SPF and DMARC records daily instead of weekly, sends a monthly owner report that explains what happened in plain English, and includes a human setup session where someone works through your cutover with you.

**Q: What counts as a domain?**
A domain is one name that receives email, such as example.com, with its own MX records. Each separately protected domain is billed on its own. Domain aliases, meaning extra domains that deliver to the same mailboxes, are included at no extra charge.

**Q: What happens if we go over 100,000 inbound messages in a month?**
We don't charge overage fees automatically. If a domain regularly goes over its included allowance, we contact you to agree a suitable arrangement. If we can't agree within 30 days, either of us can cancel that domain's subscription, and we refund what you prepaid for the remaining full months. If you expect a domain to get close to the allowance, tell us before you sign up and we'll look at your volume with you. The details are in section 4.3 of our [terms](https://iblockspam.com/legal/terms).

**Q: How does billing work?**
Payments are processed by Stripe. Each protected domain has its own subscription, billed annually or month to month, and it renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time in the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, and you aren't charged again. See our [refund and cancellation policy](https://iblockspam.com/legal/refund-policy).

**Q: Can we switch between monthly and annual billing?**
Annual billing costs less per month: $144 a year for Protect instead of $180, and $228 a year for Protect Plus instead of $288. Where the billing portal lets you change plan or billing interval, it shows any prorated amount and the date the change takes effect before you confirm. If the change you want isn't offered there, email support@iblockspam.com.

**Q: Is there a free trial?**
There's no free trial. Instead, a domain's first annual subscription comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee: ask within 30 days of the charge and we refund it in full. Month-to-month fees aren't refundable, but you can cancel any time. The free health check and our other tools work without an account.

**Q: How does the 30-day money-back guarantee work?**
It covers the first annual subscription for each domain. If iBlockSpam isn't right for you, ask within 30 days of that charge and we refund it in full. Annual renewals can be refunded if you ask within 14 days of the renewal charge. Month-to-month fees and partial periods aren't refunded. The full rules, with worked examples, are in our [refund and cancellation policy](https://iblockspam.com/legal/refund-policy).

**Q: Are taxes included?**
No. All prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax, VAT or similar taxes that apply where you are. Any tax is shown on your order before you pay.

**Q: What happens to our mail if we cancel?**
Canceling stops renewal, and the service runs until the end of the period you've paid for. Before your service ends, we help you point your MX records back to your previous provider (or a new one) so mail keeps arriving. Your setup record keeps your original DNS values so the change back is quick.
