> Why businesses choose iBlockSpam: per-domain pricing, guided setup with rollback, personal quarantines, ongoing DNS checks and honest limits.

Most email filters are sold on fear and fine print. We'd rather show you exactly what you get, what it costs per domain, and how to leave if it isn't right for you.

## What makes us different

There are plenty of spam filters. Our aim is to be the one that's easiest to understand, safest to switch to, and honest about what it does.

### Clear pricing per domain, not per person

You pay per domain. Every domain includes **unlimited mailboxes** and unlimited domain aliases. That means the number of mailboxes doesn't change your price. It doesn't mean unlimited mail: each domain includes 100,000 inbound messages a month. You can check your current volume in your mail platform's reports before you sign up.

| Plan | Billed annually | Month-to-month |
|---|---|---|
| Protect | $12 per domain/month ($144/year) | $15 per domain/month |
| Protect Plus | $19 per domain/month ($228/year) | $24 per domain/month |

Beta pricing, in USD, excluding tax. See the full [pricing page](https://iblockspam.com/pricing) or the worked examples in [per-domain vs per-user pricing](https://iblockspam.com/compare/per-domain-vs-per-user-pricing).

### Setup that you can undo

Changing MX records is the riskiest moment in adopting any email filter. Our guided setup wizard:

- shows your current DNS next to the new values before you change anything;
- walks you through platform steps, such as a Microsoft 365 Partner connector with Enhanced Filtering for Connectors, or a Google Workspace inbound gateway;
- records your old values and gives you rollback steps;
- helps you verify that a real test message was filtered and delivered.

We call it guided setup because it involves a few careful steps. Our aim is that most domains are set up in one session. Protect Plus includes a human setup session.

### Everyone gets a quarantine

Every user has a personal quarantine and receives digest emails on a schedule you choose: hourly, daily, on a chosen weekday or custom. Admins also get a domain-wide shared quarantine. People can release a legitimate message themselves instead of waiting on IT. [Read about quarantine and digests](https://iblockspam.com/features/quarantine-and-digests).

### We keep watching after setup

Email security often breaks quietly. Someone changes DNS hosts, a website migration overwrites the MX records, or a new service adds a broken SPF include. [Domain monitoring](https://iblockspam.com/features/domain-monitoring) checks your MX, SPF and DMARC records and alerts you when they change: weekly on Protect, daily on Protect Plus.

### Free tools that tell the truth

Our [Check tools](https://iblockspam.com/tools) are free and need no sign-up. They're designed to be honest about uncertainty. An MX lookup can't prove mail is filtered. A DKIM selector we can't find is unknown, not broken. The [Email Header Analyzer](https://iblockspam.com/tools/email-header-analyzer) runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

## What you get on every plan

- Spam, virus and malware filtering
- Phishing and spoofing protection, including sender verification on allow and block lists
- Geographic filters, attachment-type filters, a Microsoft Office macro filter and custom domain rules
- Outage protection: mail held for up to 5 days if your server is down
- 30 days of message history
- Outbound relay with DKIM signing and outbound filtering, 500 messages a month
- Domain monitoring

The same service works on every mail platform we support, with setup steps for each on the [platforms](https://iblockspam.com/platforms) pages. If you want to see how it fits your kind of business, start with [solutions](https://iblockspam.com/solutions), and for side-by-side comparisons with built-in filtering and per-user pricing, see [compare](https://iblockspam.com/compare).

## What we don't claim

We think it's worth saying plainly what iBlockSpam is not:

- **Not a promise that no spam gets through.** No filter catches everything, and occasionally a legitimate message will be quarantined. That's why quarantines and digests matter.
- **Not a replacement for your platform's security.** Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace both have capable built-in protection. We add a layer; see [Microsoft 365 built-in vs a gateway](https://iblockspam.com/compare/microsoft-365-built-in-vs-gateway), [Defender for Office 365 vs a gateway](https://iblockspam.com/compare/defender-for-office-365-vs-email-gateway) and [Google Workspace built-in vs a gateway](https://iblockspam.com/compare/google-workspace-built-in-vs-gateway).
- **Not a compliance archive.** Message history is kept for 30 days to help you trace mail, not for legal retention.
- **DMARC monitoring reports; it doesn't block.** It collects your aggregate reports and shows who sends as your domain. Counts come only from receivers that send reports, so they're lower than total mail sent.

## Leaving is easy

If iBlockSpam isn't right for you, leaving is a DNS change. Before your service ends, we help you point your MX records back to your previous provider (or a new one) so mail keeps arriving. Our [migration guide](https://iblockspam.com/migrate) covers both directions. We'd rather earn your renewal than make leaving hard.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is iBlockSpam a replacement for Microsoft Defender or Google's filtering?

No, and we won't pretend it is. iBlockSpam adds a filtering layer in front of your mail platform. Your platform's own protection keeps working behind it. For many businesses the value is an extra layer, personal quarantines, clear per-domain pricing and ongoing DNS monitoring, not replacing what Microsoft or Google already do well.

### What does per-domain pricing include?

Each domain includes unlimited mailboxes and unlimited domain aliases, 100,000 inbound messages a month, a 400 MB maximum inbound message size and 500 outbound relay messages a month. Unlimited mailboxes means you don't pay per user. It does not mean unlimited message volume.

### Can I try it before I commit?

There's no free trial. Instead, a domain's first annual subscription comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, and month-to-month plans can be cancelled at any time. Our free tools work without an account, so you can check your domain's setup before you sign up.

### Who is behind iBlockSpam?

iBlockSpam is a product of BroadNet. You can read more on our about page, and about how we handle data on our security page.
