Effective date: 10 October 2026
The short version: our public pages set no cookies of our own. Cookies are used only when you sign in, use a form, or use the portal, to keep you signed in and protect forms. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there's no cookie banner to click through. We count page visits with our own cookie-less counter, which reads no cookies or browser storage and respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control.
This policy explains how BroadNet Technologies LLC, the operator of iBlockSpam, uses cookies and similar technologies on iblockspam.com and the iBlockSpam customer portal. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data more generally.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, keep information on your device in a comparable way. This policy covers both.
2. Cookies we set
All of our cookies are strictly necessary: they make a feature you've asked for work, so they don't need consent. They're sent only to iblockspam.com, over HTTPS.
| Cookie | What it does | When it's set | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
__Host-ibs_session |
Keeps your session, including sign-in, and the form you're filling in. Its contents are encrypted and stored on our server | When you use the contact form, sign in, sign up, or use your account or the admin | 120 minutes of inactivity, or until you sign out |
XSRF-TOKEN |
Protects forms against cross-site request forgery | With the session cookie | 120 minutes |
remember_customer_… |
Keeps you signed in on a trusted device | Only if you tick "Remember me" when signing in | Until you sign out, up to about 400 days |
ibs_signed_in |
Tells our pages you're signed in, so the menu shows "Your domains" instead of "Log in". It holds only the value "1" and no identifier | When you sign in | 30 days, or until you sign out |
3. Cookies set by others
- Cloudflare, our network and security provider, may set a short-lived cookie such as
__cf_bm(30 minutes) to tell people from automated bots, andcf_clearanceif you complete a security check. They're used only for security, never for tracking or advertising. See Cloudflare's cookie policy. - Stripe sets its own cookies when you pay or manage billing on Stripe's checkout and customer portal pages, which are hosted by Stripe. They're used for payment processing and fraud prevention under Stripe's privacy policy.
4. Browser storage
The site stores one setting in your browser's local storage: ibs-theme, which remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
The Email Header Analyzer, DMARC Report Analyzer and DKIM Key Generator work entirely in your browser. What you paste or open in them isn't uploaded to us or stored by these tools.
5. What we don't use
- Analytics or audience-measurement cookies, or third-party analytics scripts.
- Advertising, retargeting or affiliate cookies.
- Social media tracking pixels or embedded social widgets.
- Third-party cookies for cross-site tracking or profiling.
To understand which pages are useful, we use a first-party, cookie-less counter that stores only daily totals; it sets no cookies and uses no browser storage. See section 4A of our Privacy Policy. If we ever want to use analytics cookies, we'll update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
6. Managing cookies
You can view and delete cookies in your browser settings, and block them for any site. If you block our cookies, sign-in and our forms won't work, but you can still read the website and use most free tools. To reset the theme, clear the site's local storage in your browser.
7. Changes and contact
We'll update this page if our use of cookies changes, and change the date above. Questions: privacy@iblockspam.com.
