Effective date: 10 October 2026
The short version (not a substitute for the full Terms)
- iBlockSpam is a business service. You sign up for your organization and confirm you're allowed to.
- You can only protect domains you control. We check this with a DNS TXT record.
- You pay per protected domain, in advance, in US dollars. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for.
- A first annual subscription has a 30-day money-back guarantee, and you can ask for a refund within 14 days of an annual renewal charge. Details are in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
- No spam filter is perfect. Check your quarantine, and keep your DNS and mail server set up as our guidance describes.
- Your email stays yours. We process it only to provide the Service, as your processor under our Data Processing Agreement.
- Our liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before a claim, except where the law doesn't allow a cap.
- We give at least 30 days' notice of material changes to these Terms or to your price.
1. Acceptance and authority
1.1 These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between the organization that creates an account or orders the Service ("Customer", "you") and BroadNet Technologies LLC ("iBlockSpam", "we", "us", "our"). iBlockSpam is a product of BroadNet. Our full company details are in the Company details table in our Privacy Policy.
1.2 You accept these Terms when you tick the acceptance box at sign-up, place an order, or use the Service, whichever comes first. The individual who does so confirms that they have authority to bind the Customer. If you don't have that authority, or don't agree, don't use the Service.
1.3 The Service is for businesses and other organizations, not for personal or household use. You confirm that you are acting for a business purpose.
2. Definitions
In these Terms:

3. The documents that make up the Agreement
3.1 The Agreement consists of these Terms and:
- the Refund and Cancellation Policy;
- the Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP");
- the Data Processing Agreement ("DPA"), including the Standard Contractual Clauses it incorporates; and
- any order or written partner agreement that refers to these Terms.
3.2 Our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Subprocessors list explain how we handle personal data, but they are notices, not contract terms you must comply with.
3.3 If documents conflict, this order applies: (a) the DPA, for the processing of Personal Data; (b) a signed partner agreement or order, for what it expressly covers; (c) the Refund and Cancellation Policy, for billing, cancellation and refunds; (d) these Terms; (e) the AUP.
4. The Service
4.1 How it works. You point your domain's MX records to our filtering infrastructure. The Service scans inbound mail for spam, viruses, malware, phishing and spoofing, applies your settings, and delivers clean mail to the mail server you specify, such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, cPanel/WHM or Exchange. Held mail goes to quarantine, where Users and administrators can review and release it.
4.2 Included usage. Each Subscription includes, per Protected Domain and per calendar month:
| Item | Included |
|---|---|
| Inbound messages | 100,000 |
| Maximum inbound message size | 400 MB |
| Outbound relay messages | 500 |
| Mailboxes | Unlimited (the number of mailboxes, not message volume) |
| Domain aliases | Unlimited |
| Message history | 30 days |
| Outage spooling | Up to 5 days |
4.3 Usage above the included limits. We don't charge overage fees automatically. If a Protected Domain regularly exceeds its included usage, we'll contact you to agree a suitable arrangement. If we can't agree within 30 days, either of us may cancel that domain's Subscription, and we'll refund the Fees you prepaid for the remaining full months of the Subscription Period.
4.4 Outage spooling. If your mail server can't accept mail, the Service holds (spools) inbound mail for up to 5 days and keeps trying to deliver it. Mail that still can't be delivered after that period may be returned to the sender or discarded. Spooling protects against your server being unavailable; it is not a backup or archive.
4.5 Beta. The Service is offered in Beta. During the Beta, features may be added, changed or withdrawn, and prices are labelled "Beta pricing". We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before a change that materially reduces a paid feature you're using, or before a price change applies to your Subscription (see section 7.5). If you don't accept the change, you can cancel before it takes effect and receive a refund of the Fees prepaid for the remaining full months of your Subscription Period.
4.6 Free Tools. The Free Tools are provided free of charge, as they are, for checking domains you manage or are investigating in good faith. Their results describe public DNS and message configuration at the time of the check. They are informational and don't measure how well any filtering service performs. We may change, limit or withdraw them at any time.
4.7 Changes to the Service. We improve the Service continuously. We won't make a change that materially reduces the core functionality of a paid Subscription during its current Subscription Period, except where needed for security, legal compliance or to respond to a change by a subprocessor outside our control; in those cases we'll tell you as early as we reasonably can.
5. Accounts and domain verification
5.1 Your Account. You must give accurate account and billing information and keep it current. You're responsible for your Users and for everything done under your Account. Keep login credentials confidential and tell us promptly at security@iblockspam.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
5.2 Domain verification. Before we filter mail for a domain, you must prove that you control it by publishing a DNS TXT record we give you. We may re-check that record periodically. If it disappears, we'll warn the Account owners. If another Account proves control of the domain while your record is absent, we may transfer the domain to that Account.
5.3 Authority over domains. You may only add domains that you own or are authorized to manage, and only route mail for users and organizations you're entitled to act for. Partners (MSPs and web hosts) who manage domains for their own clients must have their clients' authority to do so.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- DNS and mail routing. Making and maintaining the DNS changes the Service needs, including your MX records, and keeping SPF, DKIM and DMARC records accurate.
- Your mail platform. Configuring your mail server as our setup guidance describes, including any inbound connector or gateway setting, and, where your platform allows, restricting direct inbound delivery so that mail can't bypass filtering.
- Quarantine review. Reviewing quarantines and digests and releasing legitimate mail. No filter is perfect (see section 13).
- Lawful use. Complying with the AUP and the laws that apply to your use of email, including anti-spam, electronic marketing, employment and data protection laws.
- Notices and lawful basis. Having a lawful basis for the processing of Customer Email you instruct, and giving your Users and correspondents any notices the law requires.
- Leaving safely. Before your Service ends, pointing your MX records back to your own mail server or new provider (see section 11.6).
7. Fees, billing, renewal and taxes
7.1 Prices. Fees are charged per Protected Domain, in US dollars (USD), at the prices shown at checkout. Current Beta prices:
| Plan | Billed annually | Month to month |
|---|---|---|
| Protect | $12 per domain/month, charged as $144 per year | $15 per domain/month |
| Protect Plus | $19 per domain/month, charged as $228 per year | $24 per domain/month |
| Partners (MSPs and web hosts) | By written agreement | By written agreement |
7.2 One Subscription per domain. Each Protected Domain has its own Subscription, Subscription Period and renewal date.
7.3 Payment in advance. Fees are charged in advance at the start of each Subscription Period to the payment method you provide. Payments are processed by Stripe; we don't receive or store your full card number.
7.4 Automatic renewal. Each Subscription renews automatically for another Subscription Period of the same length, at the price then in effect, and the payment method on file is charged, until you cancel. We'll email the Account owner a reminder at least 7 days before each annual renewal.
7.5 Price changes. We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before a new price applies to your Subscription. The new price takes effect from your first renewal after the notice period ends. If you don't accept it, cancel before that renewal.
7.6 Taxes. Prices exclude sales tax, VAT, GST and similar taxes. Applicable taxes may be added where required, and you're responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase, other than taxes on our income. If you provide a valid tax ID, it will appear on your invoices.
7.7 Failed payments. If a payment fails, we'll tell you by email and retry it. We don't charge late fees or interest. If an amount remains unpaid 14 days after we've notified you, we may suspend the affected Subscription under section 10 until it's paid.
7.8 Invoices and billing disputes. Invoices and receipts are available in the billing portal. If you think a charge is wrong, please contact support@iblockspam.com before you contact your bank; we'll correct billing errors promptly (see the Refund and Cancellation Policy).
8. Cancellation and refunds
8.1 How to cancel. You can cancel a Subscription at any time in the Stripe customer portal, which you open from the billing section of your account at iblockspam.com/account. If you can't use the portal, email support@iblockspam.com from an Account owner's address and we'll cancel it for you.
8.2 When it takes effect. Cancellation stops future renewals. The Subscription stays active until the end of the current Subscription Period and then ends. You won't be charged again for that Subscription.
8.3 Refunds. Refunds are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy. In summary:
- a first annual Subscription can be refunded in full if you ask within 30 days of the charge (our money-back guarantee);
- an annual renewal charge can be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of the charge;
- month-to-month Fees are non-refundable; and
- otherwise there are no refunds or credits for partial months or unused time,
except for billing errors, for situations where these Terms expressly provide a refund, and where the law requires one.
9. Service levels and support
9.1 Availability. We work to keep the Service available at all times and to fix problems quickly. During the Beta we don't offer a service level agreement, uptime commitment or service credits.
9.2 Mail flow during disruption. If our filtering infrastructure is temporarily unreachable, sending mail servers normally queue mail and retry delivery, as the email standards provide. If your own mail server is unreachable, the Service spools inbound mail as described in section 4.4.
9.3 Maintenance. We may carry out maintenance that affects the Service. We'll try to schedule it to minimize disruption and give advance notice of planned work that we expect to interrupt mail flow.
9.4 Support. Support is provided by email at support@iblockspam.com and through our contact form. Protect Plus includes a human setup session. Some messages to our addresses are answered first by an automated assistant, as explained in our Privacy Policy; you can always ask for a person.
10. Suspension
10.1 We may suspend all or part of the Service (for example, only the outbound relay) if:
- you or your Users breach the AUP, for example by sending bulk or unsolicited email through the outbound relay;
- your use poses a security risk to the Service, our filtering infrastructure or other customers, or could expose us to legal liability;
- an amount remains unpaid as described in section 7.7; or
- we're required to by law or by a competent authority.
10.2 We'll give you notice and, where practicable, a chance to fix the problem before suspending. We may act immediately where a delay would cause harm, and will then tell you promptly what we did and why. We'll limit any suspension to what's reasonably needed, and lift it once the cause is resolved.
10.3 Inbound filtering is how your mail reaches you, so we'll treat suspension of inbound filtering as a last resort and, where we can, give you time to point your MX records elsewhere first.
11. Term and termination
11.1 Term. The Agreement starts when you accept it and continues while you have an Account or an active Subscription.
11.2 Termination by you. You can cancel Subscriptions as described in section 8, and close your Account by emailing support@iblockspam.com.
11.3 Termination for breach. Either of us may terminate the Agreement, or an affected Subscription, by notice if the other materially breaches it and doesn't fix the breach within 30 days of written notice. We may terminate immediately for a serious or repeated breach of the AUP.
11.4 Termination by us for convenience. We may end a Subscription or the Service as a whole with at least 30 days' notice. If we do, we'll refund the Fees you prepaid for the remaining full months of the Subscription Period.
11.5 Insolvency. Either of us may terminate the Agreement by notice if the other becomes insolvent, enters liquidation or a similar procedure, or stops trading.
11.6 Effect of termination. When a Subscription ends, we stop filtering mail for that domain. Mail for your domain may stop arriving if your MX records still point to us, so point them back to your mail platform or new provider beforehand; your setup record keeps your original DNS values, and our migration guide explains each step. We'll delete Customer Data as described in the DPA and the retention table in our Privacy Policy.
11.7 Survival. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination do so, including sections 7 (for amounts due), 12, 14, 15, 16 and 20.
12. Data protection and confidentiality
12.1 Your data. As between us, you own Customer Data. You grant us a limited right to process it only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service and as the law requires. We don't sell Customer Data, use Customer Email for advertising, or use it to build profiles of individuals.
12.2 Personal Data. When we process Personal Data in Customer Data, we act as your processor under the DPA, which forms part of the Agreement. Customer Email is processed in the United States by our US-based filtering subprocessor. Our Privacy Policy explains the data we handle as a controller, such as account and billing data.
12.3 Confidential information. Each of us may receive non-public information from the other that is marked confidential or would reasonably be understood to be confidential, including Customer Data, non-public pricing and security information ("Confidential Information"). The receiving party will use it only to perform the Agreement, protect it with at least reasonable care, and disclose it only to its personnel, advisers and subprocessors who need it and are bound by confidentiality obligations. These obligations don't apply to information that is or becomes public through no fault of the recipient, was already lawfully known to it, is independently developed, or is lawfully received from a third party. A party may disclose Confidential Information where required by law, after giving the other party notice where legally allowed.
12.4 Aggregated data. We may use aggregated, de-identified data about use of the Service, such as message volumes and filtering verdict counts, to operate, secure and improve it. Such data doesn't identify you, your Users or any individual.
13. Warranties and disclaimers
13.1 Our commitments. We will provide the Service with reasonable skill and care, in line with these Terms, and maintain the security measures described in the DPA.
13.2 Mutual. Each of us confirms that it has the authority to enter into the Agreement.
13.3 What we don't promise. No spam filter is perfect. The Service will sometimes let unwanted mail through and sometimes hold or reject legitimate mail. We don't guarantee that the Service will detect every threat, deliver every legitimate message, or operate without interruption or error. Email between servers is encrypted in transit only when the other server supports it.
13.4 Disclaimer. Except as expressly stated in the Agreement, and to the fullest extent the law allows, the Service and Free Tools are provided "as is" and "as available", and we disclaim all other warranties and conditions, whether express, implied or statutory, including those of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
14. Limitation of liability
14.1 Excluded losses. Neither of us is liable to the other for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings, however caused, even if it was foreseeable.
14.2 Cap. Each party's total liability arising out of or relating to the Agreement in any 12-month period is limited to the Fees you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. For Free Tools, which are free, our total liability is limited to USD 100.
14.3 Exceptions. Sections 14.1 and 14.2 don't limit:
- your obligation to pay Fees that are due;
- either party's indemnity obligations under section 15;
- liability for breach of the AUP by you or your Users;
- liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence; or
- any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
14.4 Lost email. Because filtering involves holding, quarantining and rejecting mail on your instructions and settings, and because mail can be lost at points outside our control, we aren't liable for mail that is lost or delayed except to the extent caused by our breach of the Agreement, and then only within the cap in section 14.2.
15. Indemnities
15.1 By us. We will defend you against any third-party claim alleging that the Service, as we provide it, infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, and pay the damages and costs finally awarded or agreed in settlement. If such a claim is made or seems likely, we may modify the Service so it doesn't infringe, obtain the right for you to keep using it, or, if neither is reasonably possible, end the affected Subscription and refund the Fees prepaid for the remaining unused period. This doesn't apply to claims arising from Customer Data, your combination of the Service with things we didn't provide, or use in breach of the Agreement.
15.2 By you. You will defend us against any third-party claim arising from Customer Data, from your or your Users' breach of the AUP, or from your adding a domain you weren't authorized to manage, and pay the damages and costs finally awarded or agreed in settlement.
15.3 Process. The party seeking protection must notify the other promptly, let it control the defence and settlement (no settlement may admit fault by, or impose obligations on, the protected party without its consent), and give reasonable help at the other party's cost. This section states each party's entire liability and exclusive remedy for the claims it covers.
16. Intellectual property and feedback
16.1 We and our licensors own the Service, the Free Tools, our website and content, and all related intellectual property. Subject to the Agreement, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right for your Users to use the Service during your Subscriptions for your internal business purposes.
16.2 You must not copy, resell (except under a partner agreement), reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Service, except where the law expressly allows it, or use it to build a competing product.
16.3 If you give us suggestions or feedback, we may use them freely without obligation to you. We won't identify you as their source without your permission.
16.4 We won't name you as a customer in our marketing without your written permission.
17. Third-party services
The Service works with services we don't control, such as your mail platform, DNS host, domain registrar and the mail servers of your correspondents. Your use of those services is governed by your agreements with their providers, and we aren't responsible for their availability or behavior. The subprocessors we use to provide the Service are listed on our Subprocessors page, and we remain responsible for them as the DPA describes.
18. Changes to these Terms
18.1 We may update these Terms, for example to reflect changes to the Service or the law. We'll post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
18.2 For a material change, we'll give at least 30 days' notice by email to Account owners or in the portal before it takes effect. If you don't accept the change, you may cancel the affected Subscriptions before it takes effect and we'll refund the Fees you prepaid for the remaining full months of the Subscription Period. If you continue to use the Service after the change takes effect, the updated Terms apply.
18.3 We may make changes that are required by law, or that don't adversely affect you (such as clarifications or new features), with effect from when we post them.
19. Export controls and sanctions
Each party will comply with the export control and economic sanctions laws that apply to it. You confirm that you and your Users are not located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, and are not named on a sanctions or restricted-party list maintained by the United States, the United Nations, the European Union or the United Kingdom. We may suspend or end the Service where providing it would breach those laws.
20. General
20.1 Governing law and disputes. These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, with the courts of Dubai having exclusive jurisdiction. Conflict-of-laws rules that would apply another law, and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, don't apply. Before starting proceedings, each party will first try in good faith to resolve a dispute by negotiation for at least 30 days after written notice of it. Either party may still seek urgent injunctive relief in any competent court. Nothing in this section removes rights you have under mandatory consumer or data protection law where you're established, including your right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority, and the DPA sets its own governing law for the Standard Contractual Clauses.
20.2 Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor action (other than by its own staff), failures of public networks or utilities, large-scale attacks on internet infrastructure, or acts of government. The affected party will tell the other promptly and use reasonable efforts to limit the effect. This doesn't excuse payment obligations. If the event prevents performance for more than 30 days, either party may terminate the affected Subscription and you'll receive a refund of the Fees prepaid for the remaining full months of its Subscription Period.
20.3 Assignment. Neither party may assign the Agreement without the other's written consent, which won't be unreasonably withheld, except that either party may assign it, with notice, to an affiliate or to a successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of all or substantially all of the relevant business or assets.
20.4 Notices. We'll send notices to the email address of your Account owner, or show them in the portal. You can send legal notices to legal@iblockspam.com. Notices about billing go to support@iblockspam.com and about privacy to privacy@iblockspam.com. An email notice is received when it is sent, unless the sender receives a delivery failure.
20.5 Entire agreement. The Agreement is the entire agreement between us about its subject matter and replaces any earlier agreements, proposals or representations about it. Terms in a purchase order or similar document you send us don't apply, even if we accept the order.
20.6 Other terms. If any provision is found unenforceable, it applies to the maximum extent allowed and the rest of the Agreement continues. A failure or delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. The parties are independent contractors. No one other than the parties has rights under the Agreement, except as stated in the DPA's Standard Contractual Clauses.
